Abbey Markell

Hello, its so good to meet you, I am Abbey Markell. I’m a 19 year old born and raised Alaskan with a passion for baking and animals, especially dogs. Back in 2022 one of our family friends had a greyhound go through surgery and the dog lost a lot of weight. Knowing I was good at baking, I was given the task of making something to fatten the dog up. This friend, Mark Robokoff, just happened to own AKBark and at the time was looking to expand to a new larger location. He asked me to work with him and fill his new pastry case full of fresh treats for all of his furry customers. Since opening day I haven't stopped baking and, with his and the support from my family, team, and customers like you, I have grown so much since. 

All my treats are freshly baked with natural and organic ingredients and are all hand decorated. All of our treats have received the “Puppy Seal of Approval” from my wonderful team. We hope your dogs enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them
